May 21, 2011 Nick and Meg arrive in Playa
It’s a shame, but I had to leave on Thursday, May 19, for a wedding in Chicago, and my son, Nick, arrives in Playa today with his girlfriend Meg. Meg has never been to Playa, so I hope she likes it. Nick texted me when he arrived,
“Let the festivities begin! We made it to el taj and love it! The condo is great, everyone couldn’t be nicer, it’s beautiful, and we’re already relaxing. Thanks again and we’ll write soon”
They’ve been sending short notes every day filling me in on Playa. Nick and Meg are in their early 30′s, so it gives you an idea of what appeals to different groups of people. I typically love all of their recommendations.
“Mom, we just got back from the best food I’ve ever had!! It’s called Las Pescadillas and it’s a couple of blocks up Constituyentes. Unbelievable meats and very inexpensive. Great margaritas and the staff was really friendly. Recommend it to anyone looking for good Mexican or who want to get away from 5th.”
