Sagraria is one of the best shops in Playa del Carmen
Ladies, Sagrario is a wonderful, one-of-a-kind shop you have to visit while in Playa del Carmen. They custom make bathing suits, cover-ups, dresses, tops – anything you want and all at reasonable prices. Sagrario is on Calle 14 between First Avenue and the beach, around the corner from El Taj Ocean and El Taj Beach.
Lizbeth is the owner and has loved sewing and creating clothes since she could walk. She’s also been a runway model and has a flair for clothes who is wonderful to work with. I am normally not one to do something like this. I don’t have a runway figure and am self conscious about every imperfection I have. Lizbeth made it fun and made me several beautiful cover-ups last time I was herethat I love!!! She offers suggestions and has such an eye for what she does. This time I brought some favorite old dresses that are worn and am going to have her make me new versions of them!
I looked at her shop for several weeks before I went in. Several of my friends had gone there and I loved the wraps she made for them – so cute and different, but I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about having a bathing suit made. I am sold now!
If you are down there on a girl’s trip, nothing is more fun than going there and having Lizbeth make you a few things. Her turnaround is usually within a few days unless she’s doing a wedding. She has a wide assortment of fabrics and if you don’t see something you like, she has more in another building she’ll bring over for you.
Sagrario is located at Calle 14 and First Ave in Playa del Carmen (Calle 14 entre 1raAv Nte con). On the corner of First Ave and Calle 14, almost next door to Sagrario’s, is Lizbeth’s mothers shop, Allicia, which has been my favorite place to buy dishes, glasses, and decorations for our condo’s. Senora Alicia is the most lovely lady and everyone I take there buys something. Both places are a must on your shopping in Playa.
